My Story

I’m Anthony from onlineposters.co.uk.

In 2008, just a week before my wedding, I was made redundant from my IT job—something I thought was my dream career. It was a huge shock, but it pushed me to focus on something I truly loved: photography.

At the time, I had been building a photography business on the side, aiming to shoot weddings, events, and portraits. While looking for another IT role, I took a walk around St Albans market and spoke with a few traders about setting up a stall. A week later, I did exactly that.

Initially, I was simply selling a few prints and promoting my portrait work. But to my surprise, people connected with the images and began buying them. That moment marked the start of onlineposters.

Around the same time, I came across framing equipment at a photography exhibition. I began framing my own work in the spare bedroom of our flat, working on the floor. Before long, customers started asking if I could frame their pieces too.

Since then, I’ve continued selling my photography and offering bespoke framing services both online and at the market.
